As travel industry resources continue to be in high demand, particularly among motor coach and charter air operators, it’s never too early to begin planning for fall. Whether you’re attending an in-state show or making the cross-country trek to Grand National Championships, your time is better spent on the podium, in design discussions and with your students rather than managing deadlines and booking hotel, transportation, meal and rehearsal venue contracts.

Contact Music Travel to provide us with a few key details so we can begin laying the groundwork for your return to a Bands of America event this fall. You’ll be assigned a dedicated MTC Travel Designer who will introduce themselves and begin contacting the vendors serving your trip to create a custom travel proposal. You can then use this custom proposal to present to your booster organization, administration and school board.

A Bands of America travel experience is like no other. Being a part of the Bands of America travel experience is an adrenaline rush – intense and exhilarating! This educational experience can seem overwhelming, especially for first-time competitors. Multiple factors like the method of travel, hotel, supplies, meals, timing, safety, communication, and more must be dealt with and planned for to make a band’s Grand Nationals performance successful. To aid and assist everyone’s planning, Music Travel Consultants and the Ronald Reagan Marching Band from San Antonio, Texas have partnered to make this informative and educational video on the Bands of America travel experience.

Contact Music Travel to reserve Music for All’s BOA Grand Nationals rehearsal space, homeroom, Saturday pre-finals dinner and additional group meals.
Rehearsal Space
Indoor rehearsal hall space at the Indiana Convention Center (ICC), taped with yard lines and hash marks, await your band! During Grand Nationals week, one, two and three-hour blocks are available Thursday and Friday from 6:00 am to Midnight. Saturday availability is from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. November weather in Indianapolis is unpredictable at best, bitter cold or wet at worst. Reserve this premium space early to ensure your band’s success. Please note that the number of fields is subject to change based on ICC availability from year to year. Watch for information to come out this November with regards to booking for 2017 and beyond.
Home Room
Reserve yours, adjacent to the ICC rehearsal halls! A limited number of large rooms offer lots of space for instruments, uniforms and tired students and adults. Located just a block north of Lucas Oil Stadium, on the way to Circle Centre Mall and downtown Indy attractions, a convenient home room at ICC makes a great base for your Grand Nationals experience!
Saturday Pre-Finals Dinner
How can your band possibly eat between Saturday’s finalist announcements and the night’s first performance? Easy! Book now for a tasty, hot meal, served at the Indiana Convention Center between 4:00 pm and 7:30 pm!
Additional Group Meals
Choose from several balanced menus, served when you choose, at Indiana Convention Center. Convenient breakfast, lunch and dinner dining was never so good!
Don’t forget about the Music Travel Consultants’ Music & Talent Celebration
For over a decade, Music Travel has offered this traditional evening to its travelers as a fun way to eat good food, dance, experience live music, meet students from other schools and watch the announcement of BOA Grand Nationals Semi-Finalists on a big screen in a secure setting. Bands traveling with Music Travel have exclusive access to this supervised party, if they choose to participate.
